FCKeditorX
FCKeditorX permits WYSIWYG editing of content.
If FCKeditorX is enabled, when an editor edits a content page, the content is displayed in a box with the FCKeditorX toolbar on top.
The FCKeditorX toolbar has word processor icons to permit formatting of the content, such as font, size, CSS styles, alignment.
FCKeditor settings can be modified via the Extensions/FCKeditorX menu item.

(As of April 2007, the Safari browser does not work with FCKEditorX.)
As of June 2008, there are still problems with OPERA 9:
this is not true if you edit the file fckeditor.js at line 289:
if ( window.opera && window.opera.version && parseFloat( window.opera.version() ) >= 9.5 )
should be
if ( window.opera && window.opera.version && parseFloat( window.opera.version() ) >= 9 )
and it will work!
